The Tour Committee of South Coastal Delaware AARP Chapter 5226 offers members the chance to explore interesting sites, both in the surrounding area and throughout the United States and beyond. Trips include visits to historic sites, museums, theatrical and musical performances, beautiful gardens, cruises and more. Each year we offer one or more trips out of the area.

We are pleased to be able to offer our members travel options at affordable prices. Participants appreciate the fact that all the trip details are planned and managed for them, making travel easy and enjoyable.
Members are given an exclusive opportunity to sign up for trips for 2 months following the initial announcement. If the trip is not filled by that time, it is then open for participation by non-members. It is a good idea to call first to check availability, if you are interested in going on one of our trips.
Trips are offered at the monthly general meeting, newsletter and by broadcast email. Members can telephone, text or email if interested in the offered trip. If there are no openings for the trip that you are interested in, you will be automatically placed on a waiting list and contacted when there is an opening.

Please do NOT pay for more than ONE trip on a single check and note on the check which trip you are paying for.
TRIP RULES: Day Trips:
No refunds of payments can be given unless we can replace your reservation with someone from our waiting list. If there should be no waiting list the member has the option to replace the reservation with another interested party. In the event the reservation is not replaced with another party there will be no refunds.
TRIP RULES: Overnight trips:
All overnight extended trips use a scheduled payment voucher system. If cancellation is necessary participant should contact the insurance carrier for refunds following the insurance protocol and necessary required documentation.
Cancellation without insurance coverage- no refunds will be given unless we can replace your reservation with someone from our waiting list. If there should be no waiting list the member has the option to replace the reservation with another interested party. In the event the reservation is not replaced with another party there will be no refunds given.
